A very charming and cozy spot, the decor is quite dated but everything was clean and we maintained, they even have a little duck pond out back

Cozy adorable room. Fenced in pond in back with assorted ducks & geese. Large area to sit out back with a fire. Only wish they had King size beds here. Only Queen.

I mean, it's not bad - the rooms are clean, and the back part with a pond and geese is pretty. But you would expect that the armchairs would not have broken legs, that the bed lamps would be plugged in so you wouldn't have to crawl under the bed to find the cords, and that the sink would not need a body builder to turn on the faucet - and that when you tell the front desk about these things they might do something about them.

I think the major down part is that there are so many bugs in the rooms or outside of the room that get attracted by the lights. We at least killed 40 to 50 of the bugs in two nights of staying there, so if you don't like bugs I would keep away from this place. The location is fantastic, 25mins away from the woods hole, we did Martha's vineyard in a day trip. Super close to any of the great sandwich beaches, kayak or peddle boarding, or even maybe taste wine at the Truro Vineyard. The community is awesome, there are ducks and an outdoor patio for each room with a great relaxing view. The room on the other hand might need some renovation to match with the price of this place per night. Inside of the room it's always damp and moist, even though we blasted AC all night. All the furniture is very "retro", or outdated whichever you prefer. The room floor is always sticky I think it might be because of the moisture in the air. The bathroom is not the cleanest, but bearable like any other street motel quality.

Nice little place. Rooms all retro and old fashioned. Hotel very clean and well cared for. It was a peaceful place that takes me back a few decades. Ducks in the back, beautiful yard with shade trees and an assortment of squirrels and chipmunks. We loved our stay and highly recommend.
