Pointe Isabelle is overrated compared to other hotels in the centre, and here is why: The hotel is very noisy at night. In fact, we woke up many times in the middle of the night due to people screaming and loud music. I know it's in the centre, but that was not the case at another hotel we stayed at, which is also in the centre.
The internet at Pointe Isabelle was so poor. We barely had wifi signal in the room. It was patchy at the lobby with multiple disconnections.
As for the room itself, it was very old/tired and in need of renovation.
The room was quite warm. Therefore, we asked for a fan. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to provide a proper one. They provided us with one that was not working, and then another one in the same condition. In the end, we couldn't sleep!
I must say that only two of the staff members, definitely not everyone, were kind.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. We stayed at two hotels during this trip, and diffidently Pointe Isabelle was the worst, even though it was double the price of the other hotel!

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good food and beverage selections at the breakfast buffet and the diner attached to the hotel. I would recommend the included breakfast, super convenient with good options for people with dietary restrictions (even had alternative milks!). The diner attached was unassuming and the food was tasty! They have a large skiroom underground so you could leave stuff behind! The two gripes I had with this place was 1) the small bathrooms with glass shower boxes, water got everywhere and you had no counter space. 2) if you get a room on a low floor on the side of the bar- you can hear the noise through the night either from the bar itself or the one across it. Habitaciones limpias y personal amable. Buenas selecciones de alimentos y bebidas en el buffet de desayuno y en el comedor adjunto al hotel. Recomendaría el desayuno incluido, súper conveniente con buenas opciones para personas con restricciones dietéticas (¡incluso tenían leches alternativas!). El restaurante adjunto era sencillo y la comida estaba deliciosa. ¡Tienen una gran sala de esquí subterránea para que puedas dejar cosas atrás! Las dos quejas que tuve con este lugar fueron 1) los baños pequeños con cabinas de ducha de vidrio, el agua llegaba a todas partes y no tenía espacio en el mostrador. 2) si obtiene una habitación en un piso bajo al costado del bar, puede escuchar el ruido durante la noche, ya sea desde el bar mismo o desde el que está al otro lado.

Paramos a comer el plato del día y los platos de la carta. ¡Pocas veces he comido una ensalada con tantos sabores! (el San Marcelino empanado) realmente excelente. Mi esposo tomó el plato del día cocinado con mimo. El servicio es rápido y las camareras son muy sonrientes y amables. Yo recomiendo . ¡También agregaré que la decoración interior es muy hermosa + instalaciones sanitarias muy limpias! Muy importante . gracias a ellos

Everything was really good, the room is clean, we do not hear people from other rooms, the view for the balcony is gorgeous ans the team is really nice. only issue is the access to the 4st floor with a stroller, due to a staircase with 4 steps Reservamos una suite con sauna por 3 noches con nuestro pequeño bebé. Todo estuvo muy bien, la habitación está limpia, no escuchamos a la gente de otras habitaciones, la vista desde el balcón es hermosa y el equipo es realmente agradable. El único problema es el acceso a la 4ª planta con un cochecito, debido a una escalera de 4 escalones.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Very kind staff. The hotel restaurant is excellent. We chose a room with air conditioning and it was excellent. Please note that not all rooms have air conditioning. Comfortable bed and pillows and very clean.

Great place.. very nice personal, friendly, always smile... room on 4 floor were with AC... great to have in July.. breakfast buffet average, but very tasty, and nice experience...we will come again 😉😉

Decent place to stay in the downtown area. I stayed on the 'summit', aka 4th floor. These rooms, while small, are modern, with clean hardwood floor, and have AC. Breakfast is good, high quality yogurts and trimmings, and a large selection. One downside is that the check-in is later than average and check-out is early than average, 4pm and 10am respectively. This is somewhat inconvenient. They didn't accommodate early check-in at 3pm when I asked.

Very nice place. Perfect location to explore Chamonix. Food nice and a lot of space to store bags after check out while waiting to depart to the airport. I came as part of a work retreat and it was a nice and relaxed atmosphere throughout. Nice and close to bars, etc.
