I had the best time at Rapture Costa Rica! Luis, Charlotte, Amelie and Tim make you feel at home as soon as you walk in!! They are so helpful and genuine! Tim makes the best food... honestly his burritos are out of this world delicious!!! The accommodations are perfect! The beds are comfortable and there is a lot of space for your clothes and such. The pool is the best, especially at night! Luis and Amelie are always happy to help you find the right board for your skill level and they have a great selection of boards!
The walk to the beach is beautiful and a lot of the time, Luna and Ida (the super well-behaved dogs at the camp) will guide you there! The surf was so fun, and everyone at the line up is so friendly!
Since I went to Costa Rica to celebrate my birthday, Luis and the rest of the team organized an awesome beach bonfire! It was the best, and I will always be grateful for how special they made me feel. Also, Amelie bakes the most delicious cakes!!!!!
I would love to go back and stay for longer... 10/10 would recommend!

Loved it here. Stayed a week and the food was amazing plus couldn't have asked for better waves!!! The staff were all really nice and helpful - just a great vibe in general the whole time. Will be back one day!

I booked for 3 days and enjoyed it so much I ended up staying for 3 weeks. The beach has the best variety of surf of any beach I've been to with several beach breaks and a couple reef breaks of varying size and difficulty that all work on different tides so there's almost always a wave. There's a camp photographer so I came away with some really nice pictures(they even caught one of me sitting on my board with a whale breaching in the background) that were fun to show my family back home. The camp had a great vibe, met really cool people. The dorms were big and clean, the bed was comfy and the ac was strong. My girlfriend ended up joining me and changed to the private room and we were very happy with it and especially enjoyed the private balcony. They also accommodated my dietary restrictions even when it meant making a separate meal from what the rest of the house was having, very grateful for that. The house is in a beautiful location, it's somewhat secluded, has a great pool and common area. While I was there it had space for 12 campers and they're adding a couple cabanas to add more capacity and redoing the kitchen so I'd love to return and see what it looks like finished. Luis is one of the owners and was there running the place during my visit, he was very friendly to work with and made it easy for me to incrementally extend my stay. Great surf vibe, if you're looking to surf and be in nature this is the place!

Love all the rapture camps. And the Costa rica in is looking great.
Super relaxed surroundings and just a quick walk to the beach.
The pool is in the middle of the camp with and infinity to view into the jungle which is just beyond. Love it.

I had an amazing time at Rapture Costa Rica. Great waves, great food, clean facilities and friendly staff (the four legged ones were very friendly too). Ideal for surfers of all levels as the local beach has many diverse breaks. Lessons and guiding to other beaches for the more experienced surfers are offered so everyone is made to feel at home!
