Love this place, it is really really good in almost all aspects, however not so much during the high season. When fully booked this hotel is too small for its inhabitants: swimming pool was packed, hard to find a sun bed; breakfast was a "stampede"; staff was understandably very busy and could not provide the amount of attention and detail that you get when occupancy is not so high; some shifts at the lobby cafe refused to make fresh juice drinks that are on the menu because they've not been trained to make them.For some reason hot water in our room was very unstable, it was either hot or cold, but almost never in between. I don't remember having this problem when we stayed here last year.You can hear people talking in the next room, seems like sound isolation is pretty bad here.The hotel is very clean and well maintained in most parts however you can see that they are starting to get a little complacent in some areas, namely elevators, corridors around staff entrances and high traffic areas, flooring in gym, sunbeds.Everything else about this place is great, we will come back here again many times.

Perfect for a family visiting Patong.The resort poorly handled covid while we were there, the breakfast restaurant was always packed and social distancing protocols were non existant. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Covid outbreak here.

The Four Points in Patong is a great hotel, but it’s just not quite up to five stars yet. If I had to give one glaring fault to this location, I’d say it’s understaffed. That translates to a lot of waiting around for services that should be basic and quick at a hotel if this caliber. Some examples include:1: need something from the front desk like your key to be redone when it quits working? Expect to spend 20-30 minutes in line. 2: want coffee with your breakfast? If it shows up, more than half the time it takes close to 30 minutes. 3: need to call the front desk for anything? If they answer you’ll need to have tried 5-6 times minimum.Now some of the good: the property is beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are spacious, modern, and well laid out. The on site breakfast buffet is expansive with lots of options for everyone. There are enough elevators that it’s not a huge problem to get a solo one during the pandemic as well.Now some of the negative points beyond the under staffing issue: walls to the main hallways are thin and there are definitely some loud guests late into the evening. Our tv cable channels did not work, if you have Marriott status you probably won’t get an upgrade and suite night redemptions weren’t possible either. The hotel is a bit far from the center of patong so expect to walk or grab a car.Overall the hotel is pleasant and on the cusp of being a great property, it just seems there are still a few teething issues to work through.

Nice looking resort but they aren't ready to handle the crowds again. My AC went out at 2 AM and they sent an engineer 3 separate times and they couldn't fix it. Meanwhile I was sitting in the room, dripping with sweat. Tons of people were complaining at the front desk about their rooms. They offer room moves so quickly it's like they know things arent working. They need to track which rooms have faulty equipment..so they aren't checking people into rooms with broken AC or other things. The property looks really nice, but you can tell they are running a skeleton crew to keep costs low. Problem is that it's compromising service quality and making this a bad experience.Update: the new room they gave me also has issues with the AC. Additionally, when working out in the fitness center they have 4 fitness coaches who hog all the good equipment for their own personal use. Considering modifying this score from 3 to 2 stars based on the continued service failures here.

During our stay of 10 days, we experienced 3 different rooms. Pros: good location near beach and restaurants/shops, decent sized rooms, comfortable beds/linens, nice pool areas. Cons: weird water system that makes it very hard to control the temp in the shower (gets boiling hot suddenly for no reason), TV system is a mess (no Netflix or CNN or anything "premium," and the signal is constantly scrambled, so the image is messed up), the prices for food/drink are exploitative (even Happy Hour pricing is double what you'd pay at any local bar/restaurant -- and Happy Hour doesn't include the craft beers or anything you'd actually want to drink).

Great vibes here. Lots of rooms with an ocean view and balcony, and right in the center of all things happening. Recommended if you want somewhere close enough to the nightlife but far enough to chill and enjoy the view too.

I'm currently staying in the hotel and was shocked to see that many guests don't wear masks in the common areas. I didn't see any staff reminding them to wear masks. Next time I will stay in another hotel that takes safety more seriously during a pandemic. No upgrade, welcome letter or other recognition for being Gold Elite member. The room is small and has a view towards another building a few meters away. However, the room is comfortable, clean and modern. A plus for the big TV. Location is also good, just a few steps away from Patong beach. I updated to 2/5 stars since I don’t feel safe in the common areas of the hotel. There are way too many unmasked tourists in the hotel lobby, elevator etc.

Amazing. That is the only was to describe this hotel. But it’s not all flash…absolute 5 star service, with a staff that does not know the NO. From check in to check out the service was flawless. I stayed in room 402 with all the amazing decor, amenities and an absolutely nice view from the mountain. Besides form the hotels beauty, great food and special design, the thing that sets this hotel apart is the staff. From check in, to the beach, I was always taken care of, accommodated with a smile and a yes. Can’t wait to come back!

I stayed here with my family and a few friends, we had such a wonderful time! Beautiful decor, and the breakfast buffet was AMAZING! My kids loved all the swimming pools. Staff were very welcoming and kind. Highly recommended.
