Há pulgas, no meu quarto encontrei camisinha e óleo de bebê. A savana cheia de sujeira. As cortinas são muito pequenas e não cobrem nada. O banheiro do lado de fora sem papel higiênico. Sem toalhas, sem sabonete, sem cobertores. Área terrível. Sem estacionamento e 110 por noite. lugar horrível

Passei minha primeira noite em São Francisco aqui sozinho e foi horrível, tudo estava sujo e o hotel estava cheio de drogados e putas. Os comentários positivos serão comprados porque realmente… a localização horrível também, na mesma rua havia meio lixão, meio lar para moradores de rua, para os agressivos que gritam com você. Fiquei com medo e peguei um uber de lá no dia seguinte, não se engane. NÃO VÁ. Pague um pouco mais vale a pena.

Pasé mi primera noche en san francisto aquí sola y fue horrible, todo sucio y el hotel era de yonkis y p*tas. Los comentarios positivos serán compradisimos por que de verdad… la ubicación horrible también, en su misma calle había un medio basurero medio vivienda de homeless, de los agresivos que te gritan. Yo pasé miedo y uí al día siguiente en uber de ahí, que no os engañen. NO VAYAIS. Pagad un poco más merece la pena.

Hay pulgas ,en mi cuarto encontré condon y baby oíl. La sabana llena de suciedad. Las cortinas muy chicas y no cubren nada. El baño afuera sin papel higiénico.No toallas, no jabón, no cobijas nada. El área pésima. No parking y 110 por noche.Horriblelugar

Passamos uma noite e descansamos bem. O quarto é limpo, embora as instalações sejam geralmente muito antigas, uma reforma seria recomendada. Fica em um bairro um tanto complicado, pois há muita pobreza em suas ruas.

puede que si no sabes hospedarte la pases mal, pero si pides una habitación más arriba la vas a pasar bien, tiene ventanas que dan a la calle que homeless pero está bien, buenas tv, heladera, microondas, limpieza bien, confortable pero no tanto, pagas lo que tienes, Aah un buen detalle, la ducha sale con buena presión, (habitación 410)

Newly renovated–a lot of the rooms have private bathrooms now–and it's clear they've put in the effort the past few years, cause this place has come a long way from what it was.It's still definitely a budget hotel, one of the cheapest in the area, in fact. I've stayed in almost every cheap hotel in downtown SF–you can't beat the price here. With that in mind, my best advice is: HAVE REASONABLE EXPECTATIONS.The 6th street location is actually very convenient. Lots of nearby transit & it's in walking distance of the mall/Union Square. Clearly it's cleaned up a lot in recent years, as well. 6th street used to be liquor stores, low income housing, & homeless people. Now, there's busy nightclubs, bars, and restaurants all along the street. Thehomeless problem is still painfully obvious, & noise from the alleyways can often be heard thru the night, especially if your windows are open.Thankfully, the staff does a good job of keeping the crazies out. If they don't recognize you, they may stop you on your way in to check your name/room #... Don't take it personally...they're just making sure everyone stays safe, and at least they arent rude about it. Even so, the crowd is diverse to say the least. If you're uptight, you should probably stay away.Unlike other nearby hotels with similar rates, however, there's no gross bugs, they do their best to keep it clean, and they don't play any games or try to get over on anyone. They're fair about returning your deposit at checkout, as well.In conclusion, if you're a single traveler or a couple looking for a cheap place to sleep and shower in the middle of downtown SF, this is a solid choice.

Háganse un favor y NO vayan. El hotel sucio y feo. La zona de noche es insegura. Toda la noche se escucharon gritos y sonidos extraños. Por el mismo precio o poca diferencia encontrarán mejores lugares.

Buen lugar para pasar la noche con lo básico y cerca de todo. Mi único problema fue que había demasiados homeless en el área, por las noches es un vecindario muy ruidoso y tal vez hasta un poco peligroso. Lo recomendaría solamente para una estancia sencilla.

Great place if you are travelling on a budget - remember this is not the Marriott! You are paying for a budget hotel! Try get a room with a private bathroom - sharing a loo and shower with other strangers is the real low point of this hotel. Staff are awesome, helpful, and friendly. Yes, lots of homeless people outside, but they are harmless, and shouldn't make one feel unsafe. It does get a bit noisy at night, so you may have a sleepless night or 2. All in all, not bad.

Situated in an older building with steep steps and narrow winding hallways, Sunnyside is a classic remnant of San Francisco SRO style hotels available to the public. The hallmark of efficiency, affordability, acceptance, and privacy - offers all the basic necessities to mind your own business and not have to deal with the tech fueled craze of San Francisco real estate. There are 3 floors with decent size rooms with traditional lock and key doors. Most have a sink and a closet, as well as a TV, fridge, microwave, and other basic appliances. Some have nice views of the area. Speaking of the area - 6th Street and Mission is a well known corner packed full of SF flavor and local action, stores, bars, clubs, social services, hotels... And not much further museums, all sorts of public transit, shopping, restaurants, luxurious hotels and pretty much all of the city - it's a very central location but be on guard is always good advice. Don't be overly wary though - explore and communicate. Showers and bathrooms are shared. Towels are on request basis. Ring the bell to be let in. The employees are polite but can be quiet and a bit careful. Despite all the location warnings the place has always appeared peaceful and safe inside. Simple, modest, affordable, comfortable, and efficient! Definitely one of the nicer hotels of its class!
