O quarto que experimentei era mais antigo. Café da manhã razoável. Preço elevado para o que oferece, mas acredito ser o padrão em Manhattan. A localização é excelente, a poucos metros do Empire State.

Pessoal pouco simpático, sala de pequeno almoço minúscula, 2 elevadores para 17 andares com 1 bar no terraço aberto ao público, pessoal da manutenção a cruzar-se com os hóspedes,ocupando os elevadores com caixas. Além disso, o local é detestável: rua muito suja, com muito lixo e um cheiro nauseabundo.

O hotel é bem localizado, quartos razoáveis para o padrão de NYC. No entanto, desta vez, saímos muito decepcionados com o hotel, depois de 3 hospedagens sucedidas (2012, 2013 e 2015). Além do odor de esgoto na rua do hotel, do cheiro horrível de cigarro/maconha no quarto, do café da manhã fraquíssimo, dos trabalhadores da manutenção cruzando com a gente no elevador, ainda nos roubaram 200 dólares no cofre (valor que temos certeza, pois, ao final da viagem, após totalizarmos os gastos na cidade, sentimos falta de 400 dólares no total). Chegamos ao hotel numa sexta-feira, e na segunda-feira à noite notamos falta de 100 dólares, resolvemos deixar o dinheiro no cofre na terça-feira para ter certeza se alguém estava furtando, não deu outra, quando chegamos da rua, estavam faltando mais 100 dólares. Meu marido registrou reclamação... Fizeram uma averiguação fajuta nas câmaras do hotel, o gerente levou um rapaz com cara de meliante para analisar o cofre... no final das contas disseram que era impossível outra pessoa abri-lo, que a equipe dele era de confiança blá blá... e ainda insinuaram para o meu marido que provavelmente eu é quem teria roubado o dinheiro. Uma moça da recepção teve a cara de pau de me chamar para perguntar se tinha eu roubado o dinheiro.... Uma total falta de respeito com o hóspede. Nunca mais voltaremos lá.

Logo na chega nos cobraram uma taxa a mais para facilities. Alegaram ser para o wi-fi. Só que no site dizem que é de graça. No dia seguinte descobrimos que o café da manhã não é aquele do site todo bonitão. Na verdade a gente ganha um voucher pra comer numa padaria do lado. Podemos pegar uma banana, uma fatia de pão de forma e café ou água. Última coisa: estamos em quatro e nos puseram num quarto pra dois adaptado, ou seja, não dá nem pra andar. As camas ficam encostadas na parede.

Teniamos reserva ya paga para 10 noches. La primer noche no tenían disponible habitaciones y nos mandaron a otro hotel (Fifth Avenue donde Tom nos recibió de manera excelente, no así el recepcionista del Nyma). Al día siguiente fuimos a tomar la habitación pero todavía no estaba disponible. No nos permitían dejar las valijas para ir a desayunar. Perdimos toda la primer mañana gracias a esto. De los 10 días, 9 tuvimos que reclamar toallas. El servicio de limpieza pasa gritando y golpeando las puertas para hacer el servicio. Lo mejor es la ubicación.El subway podes tomarlo en la esquina para up y downtown. La calle 32 esta llena de restaurantes y es muy concurrida pero dentro del hotel no se siente el bullicio.

Estive no dia 11/02/20 a 15/02/20...achei o hotel bem limpo, proximos de varias lojas, restaurantes e bem perto do Metro (34). Os quartos bem aconchegantes e banheiro dentro do padrao. Os quartos foram limpos todos os dias e a camareira sempre muito simpatica. A unica coisa que nao tivemos sorte nessa estadia, foi que so estava funcionando um elevador( 10 pessoas) para mais de 1700 quartos...entao tinha que aguardar bastante..

The location is great but the hotel is not very good. 100$ a night for an old hotel, not maintained and with an unpleasant staff. The man in the reception did not move the small finger to give us the least information. Moreover it was a room for 4 people but every day, the hotel left only 2 towels.

Hotel lobby, hallways and rooms were very clean. Our room had a bit of a smell not sure if it was the carpet or not but the A/C heating unit worked really well to heat the room up fast. TV channel was blah but we weren't there for that. Bathtub had paint or whatever sealant they had peeling off near the drain. Didn't like the look or feel of the toilet but who cares. They had handsoap, lotion and body soap in dispenser for us. Also a blow dryer. Unfortunately our king bed room didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. Never been in a hotel that didn't have a phone in it or outlets to charge your device by the bed. Overall i liked the convenience of midtown and restaurants and would recommend if you need something for like 1-2days .

Hola escribo esta reseña para que no les pase a futuros clientes si finalmente se deciden en elegir este hotel en sus días en NYC, el hotel es un poco antiguo, la situación es muy buena, en la recepción son muy amables y agradables, y ahora viene la crítica, tienen dos alas de habitaciones unas ruidosas y otras no, pero las ruidosas son lo peor, el suelo de moqueta la calefacción un aparato de aire muy antiguo q hacia mucho ruido, los colchones un poco blandos, el baño sin secador cuándo ponía que tenía y la limpieza del baño es más bien nula o nada, ya dudo que entre cliente y cliente lo limpian a fondo, deja mucho que desear al menos a mí me gusta un mínimo de limpieza, el suelo estaba lleno de pelos y al día siguiente seguían allí, se lo dije a la limpiadora y entro y me dijo muy enfadada q estaba limpio, las camas estaban estiradas sin más. Y tampoco es barato como para q no tengan servicio de habitaciones diario en condiciones, y no es el primer hotel que vamos, bueno espero q mi reseña os valga para q no os llevéis sorpresas. Fantastic location and price is great for the spot. My room was clean and bed was comfortable.
However it is quite dated and some of the furniture was past its life. Room didn't have a fridge or a coffee machine, and towels were very much near the end of their life. There's also a rooftop bar open to the public and only two lifts that are shared so it can take a while to come and go in the evening in the relatively slow lifts.

But it just didn't meet expectations we was sold a room with a empire state view. Our room looked out to it but it wasn't a great view at all as you can see from my photo
Being 12 floors up I wasn't expecting the room and the whole floor to smell of cannabis ( I'm aware it is now legal in New York however 12 floors up we really shouldn't be smelling it)
No luggage storage for after checkout , I nievly thought every hotel did this so booked an eve in flight so we could leave bags at hotel and enjoy last day in NYC . Ended up carrying 3 cases around NYC which I wouldn't recommend..
Positives are it is perfect located to basically get anywhere in NYC easy...

Lamentable. Hice una reserva por 14 noches. Escribi haciendo consultas sobre la confirmación de la misma y el pago y no recibo ninguún tipo de respuesta. Procedo a cancelar la reserva, no hay un botón en la página web desde donde pueda hacerlo. NO RESPONDEN LOS CORREOS, aún solicitando la cancelación. Un desastre. Cero atención al cliente/huésped.

I do not recommend staying here unless you only care about having a bed to sleep in. In the room, the dresser drawers were broken, the TV screen was busted, and when I first arrived it was just as cold in my room as outside because they didn’t turn the heat on before my arrival. Upon arrival, they don’t give you any info or handouts and when I asked about food recommendations I was told to check Google. You have to go to the desk to find out that the ice machines are only on 3 floors, all 3 vending machines were out of order which the front desk hadn’t told me when I asked where they were (even though they had out of order signs) so I had checked each one individually, and the interior seems half built (at least on the lower floors). Our alarm went off at 6 am even though we hadn’t set it, meaning it must not have been reset after a previous guest’s use. They wouldn’t even hold our bags for us to visit the Empire State Building after checking out, saying a Covid policy didn’t allow it. This hotel is not worth the price you pay.

Great hotel in the middle of everything!
I love that you can walk literally to all the main places and attraction! The restaurants, coffee shops, stores, shows, everything is walkable to. You are right at the center of the big Apple! Loved it, The best place to stay while you are in Manhattan!

Lembro que eu viajei e fiquei nesse hotel ( nyma, The New York Manhattan Hotel) em 2017.Na época fiquei indignado que havia sumido 400 dólares do cofre. Lendo agora em 2021 outros relatos, tive a confirmação de que os empregados desse hotel levaram meu dinheiro. Um absurdo. Não deixem dinheiro no cofre. Eles sabem abrir.

We stayed here for four nights. This hotel was a great value for the price. Amazing location, comfortable bed, hot water, working air conditioner, working microwave & mini fridge, closet and drawer space available, desk, iron, hair dryer, soaps in bathroom, etc. The front desk staff were nice and even printed some tickets for us. Both elevators were functioning and we encountered no issues staying here. Obviously it's not the newest, cleanest or fanciest (peeling wall paper, dirty lamps, flimsy towels, whatever) but if you have high expectations for the aesthetics, stay somewhere more expensive. We would definitely stay here again.

el día 30 de agosto al 7 de sept. estuvimos hospedados 3 parejas y reservamos y pagamos 3 habitaciones, llegamos al hotel después de las 12 dela noche muy cansados por el viaje y nos atendió una persona de origen africano según nos informaron, pésima su atención pésimo en el espíritude servicio, nos tuvo 2 horas ahí y no encontró nuestra reserva y tuvimos que dejar un deposito de una noche como garantía hasta que al día siguiente nos aclararan todo el asunto, esta persona nos alejaba del mostrador porque según esto lo agobiábamos con nuestra exigencia de que encontrara la reservación e incluso le dimo el comprobante de la confirmación de la reserva y aun así no encontró nada. pésima su atención es lamentable que un hotel tan céntrico y carezca de la mayor atención para el turista, somos personas que viajamos mucho y vamos a new york de manera constante sin embargo ya jamás iremos a este hotel. Sr. Gerente debe poner atención en la imagen del hotel o en un futuro su hotel ira a la baja constante por los malos comentarios de los turistas como nosotros.

We enjoyed our stay, good hotel for the modest price. A bit older, but clean and well kept. Reception folks were nice, super friendly guy at nights and cleaning lady on the floor 10 always asked if we need anything. Elevator was fine. Rooftop bar is okay, not the best view.Things we didn’t like: very uncomfortable beds, probably older, the middle is sinking and you get a feeling like you sleep in a bath tub. No luggage storage, but looks like there is a paid one couple of blocks away.

La ubicación es excelente pero no hay servicio diario de limpieza en las habitaciones. No tienden las camas ni cambian sábanas.La alfombra se ve sucia y no recogen la basura. Ofrecen una terraza que en realidad es un negocio privado al que no tienen acceso los huéspedes.

Great location. They don't store luggage after Check out!!! (They say due to covid, but then they force the guest to enter 10 In a small elevator bec the other was not working 🤷🏻♂️).Buena ubicación. No guardan el equipaje tras el check out!!! (Con la excusita del Covid, pero luego "obligaban" a los usuarios a entrar 10 en un pequeño ascensor, ya que el otro no trabajaba 🤷🏻♂️)

Mala atencion. Mala experiencia. Mi familia y yo llegamos al hotel a la 1:00 am del aereopuerto, y el tipo de recepción, a pesar de que teníamos una reservación, nos madó a otro hotel! Eviten ese lugar. Tambien, tienes que pagar adicionlmente para poder ver la tele.
