Great Fosters

Situado a tan solo unos 10 kilómetros del aeropuerto de Heathrow, este edificio único y monumento histórico está catalogado con el grado uno en el baremo de edificios de marcado carácter histórico de Reino Unido. Su construcción data del año 1550 y aún conserva un buen número de características originales. Su pasado es evidente en las ventanas con parteluz, chimeneas altas y el foso sajón, que rodea tres lados de jardines con topiarios, estatuas y rosales. Dentro del edificio encontrarás elegantes vigas y paneles de roble, chimeneas jacobinas, tapices espléndidos y una excepcional escalera de roble que sube hasta la torre.From the M25 exit at junction 13 and head towards Egham on the A30. At the end of the slip road there is a large roundabout. Take the first left into 'The Avenue'. Go to the end of the road and turn left at the mini roundabout into 'Vicarage Road'. Go over the railway lines and continue to the end of the road. Turn right at the next roundabout. Turn left at the next roundabout into 'Stroude Road' and Great Fosters is approximately 500 yards on the left.
