Lovely coffee, great views of Zanzibar from the rooftop and a beautiful building. We just stopped over for drinks, ended up buying their coffee blend as I really enjoyed it! Will be back for the beautiful looking cakes.

The coffee house is a hotel, coffee shop, and roastery all in one. It's located in stone town and offers easy access to all the spots. In addition the building boasts an amazing rooftop view.
Historically this place was the house of a minister to the sultan then became a soda factory. The current owner went through painstaking renovations to ensure the hotel could capture the essence of the original home.
Finally the service is excellent. The owner is extremely welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are fantastic. You do feel like you're living in a postcard.
Stay here? Or get some coffee. Or both.

Unique roof top cafe Vanilla milkshake was delicious (I guess they use whole vanilla beans in the shake) But the spiced coffee tasted like spiced flavored water not coffee. But the view and wind on the roof top was awesome

We checked the cafe. That spicy coffee is exceptional! I actually asked him about the recipe and they shared it which was very nice :-) dessert and pastries are diverse and delicious. They also have American style small plates and breakfast items. Definitely recommend! The walk up the stairs to the roof provides worthy view and allows you to burn quite a few calories

O Coffee House tem alguns degraus bastante íngremes para subir e até o telhado. . Nosso quarto tinha uma escada moderada e uma mulher adorável carregou nossas malas para nós. Un lugar perfecto para alojarse en piedra. No podríamos haber estado más satisfechos con el servicio, el desayuno, el café, los recorridos y la experiencia en general. Fue un lugar increíble para quedarse. The Coffee House tiene algunos escalones bastante empinados para subir y llegar a la azotea. . Nuestra habitación tenía una escalera moderada y una mujer encantadora nos subió las maletas. El desayuno y el café de la azotea eran muy buenos. ¡Latte tenía un diseño de corazón! No podríamos haber estado más satisfechos con el servicio y la experiencia.

I’ve spent 3 days at the Zanzibar Coffee House, I really enjoyed every part of this place, the location, the amazing rooftop to catch the sunrise and sunset, best coffee in the area, wide variety of breakfast options and a very friendly staff.This combination made my overall experience highly recommended and hopefully I will visit this place again :).

Perfect place to stay in Stone. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service, breakfast, coffee, tours, and overall experience.
It was an amazing place to stay.
The Coffee House has some fairly steep steps to go upstairs and to the rooftop. . Our room had a moderate staircase and a lovely woman carried our bags up for us.
The rooftop breakfast and coffee was extra good. Latte had a heart design!

Chegamos em Stone Town nos últimos dois dias de nossa viagem a Zanzibar. Viajamos com nossos três filhos pequenos. Noreen e a equipe do Zanzibar Coffee House foram além para garantir nosso conforto e ajudar a família a se sentir confortável. Eles até nos deixaram ficar para check-out tardio até as 18h do último dia, já que o quarto não estava reservado desde que nosso voo saiu tarde e para ajudar com as crianças. A arrumação é excelente e os quartos muito limpos. O prédio é de 1882 e cheio de história e charme e onde a decoração é simplesmente incrível. Muito status e livros e recantos interessantes para explorar em que morávamos. . o café da cobertura tinha uma visão de investimento e excelente comida e café. A torrada de abacate é divina. Os passeios organizados pelo hotel foram excelentes, pois eles têm sua própria empresa de turismo - fizemos um passeio a pé que eles organizaram com nossos filhos em mente, o que foi maravilhoso e um cruzeiro ao pôr do sol no dhow. A localização é excelente para estar no meio da agitação da cidade de pedra. Eu recomendo este hotel para uma experiência maravilhosa

Llegamos a Stone Town para los dos últimos días de nuestro viaje a Zanzíbar. Viajamos con nuestros tres hijos pequeños. Noreen y el personal de Zanzibar Coffee House hicieron todo lo posible para garantizar nuestra comodidad y ayudar a la familia a sentirse cómoda. Incluso nos dejaron quedarnos para el check-out tardío hasta las 6 p.m. del último día, ya que la habitación no estaba reservada porque nuestro vuelo salía tarde y para ayudar con los niños. El servicio de limpieza es excelente y las habitaciones muy limpias. El edificio es de 1882 y está lleno de historia y encanto y donde la decoración es simplemente increíble. Un montón de estado e interesantes libros y recovecos para explorar en los que vivimos ... el café de la azotea tenía una vista de inversión y excelente comida y café. La tostada de aguacate es celestial. Los recorridos organizados por el hotel fueron excelentes, ya que tienen su propia compañía de viajes. Hicimos un recorrido a pie que organizaron pensando en nuestros hijos, que fue maravilloso y un crucero al atardecer en el dhow. La ubicación es excelente para estar en medio del ajetreo y el bullicio de Stone Town. Recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel para una experiencia maravillosa.

We arrived in Stone Town for the last two days of our trip to Zanzibar. We traveled with our three young children. Noreen and the staff at the Zanzibar Coffee House went above and beyond in ensuring our comfort and helping the family feel comfortable. They even let us stay for late checkout until 6pm on the last day since the room wasn't booked since our flight left late and to help with the the kids. The housekeeping is excellent and the rooms very clean. The building is from 1882 and full of history and charm and where decor that is just amazing. Lots of status and interesting books and crannies to explore which we lived.. the rooftop cafe had an investment view and excellent food and coffee. The avocado toast is heavenly. The tours arranged by the hotel were excellent as they have their own tour company- we did a walking tour that they arranged with our children in mind which was wonderful and a sunset cruise on the dhow. The location is excellent to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of stone town. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful experience

Fomos ao café duas vezes nos últimos dias para tomar café e bolo. Por um lado, é uma jóia arquitetônica e, por outro lado, um ponto de encontro popular para os amantes do café. A cozinha é ótima também. O espaço arejado no lounge da cobertura é de primeira classe. A equipe é tão adorável e sempre de bom humor. Lugar favorito!

We stayed at three different hotels in Zanzibar and this was by far the best even if not with pools and at the beach like the others. The service was fantastic. Little things like them turning on the AC in your room before you return in the evening but also a great spice tour and transport organised by the hotel. The rooms are very pretty too. Then there was delicious coffee and food as well. What more do you need

Para comer está bastante bien. Hicimos una parada para descansar un rato y comer algo y el sitio es muy agradable. Tienen mucha variedad de sándwiches, wraps, crepes salados, etc. Y están bien. También tienen tartas y bollería con buena pinta. De precio está muy bien.
