While the hotel isn't bad, it's a bit of a mixed bag depending on what you expect out of a hotel room.
The room looks nice, but it's a bit cramped. There's a nice big TV, but if you want to hook up a switch or laptop you're going to have a hard time.
If you like to be able to black out the windows, this is your place. If you want said window to block noise from outside, maybe not
Wanna put some food in the mini fridge to keep it from spoiling? Sure thing! Want to microwave that food later? Good luck because there's no microwave.
For every good thing about this place, there's a directly corresponding bad thing. It's like they focused mainly on appearances and forgot what convenience is.
If this was a cheaper hotel I wouldn't have these complaints, but at $160.00 for the cheap room (after the surprise extra fee they slap you with at check in), I expect a bit more.

Stayed here 1 night on our way to Savannah. The entire hotel was very clean and modern. Our room was clean, had a very comfortable king size bed, and the climate control remained nice & cool all night. Complimentary breakfast was great! A really good stay! I would stay at a Tru by Hilton again.

The Lobby was inviting with modern deco and comfortable spaces to relax. Unfortunately that is the best thing I can say about it. The room, although comfortable space was not the cleanest, floor was sticky like and there was a makeup brush from a previous guest on the floor, not hard to miss, I’ve been in for Hilton or a new hotel. The walls are so thin. I was up most of the night listening to my one neighbor coughing on and off and the neighbor on the other side really likes the snooze feature on his iPhone alarm which started around 4::30am. Me the time to catch up on my emails and the latest news cycle. Got to find the bright sides. The breakfast bar was adequate. However, the Morning desk staff was sorry. The young lady responsible for checking guest in and out was camped out, blanket and computer included, in one of the cozy nooks in the corner of the lobby, dressed in what looked strongly of pajamas with a Tru by Hilton t-shirt thrown on top. When ever a guest came to the counter to check out she would direct them to drop their keys in “the bucket” and if they needed a receipt she would huff and shuffle to the desk, no greeting or smile or acknowledge, VERY PUT OUT. very poor presentation of a new Hilton hotel. The room issues aside, I would not stay here again because the front desk staff was so put upon to do their job and it wasn’t even done to me. I was in the lobby for over an hour, left my family sleeping, and the behavior did not improve.

Hotel is very well put together. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and pillows were clean & comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was great and fresh coffee and tea is always available. Front entrance is welcoming with couch's and tables with chairs all over. Parking lot was well lit and hotel was easy to find from the main road. Lots of amenities within minutes of the hotel. Lastly the staff was amazing. They were all very polite and eager to help. They accommodated our need to check out late with ease and welcomed the opportunity to help us. Will definitely become a Hilton Rewards Member after this wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful visit in Ashland at this sleek contemporary hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful! The beds were so amazingly comfortable and all the amenities were just what we needed to make the trip memorable. There was a delicious breakfast in the morning. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in! I will definitely be staying here again!
