The Shaba

This club resort and spa complex is situated in the village of Jimbaran, in southern Bali. The establishment is only a 5-minute walk from the local beach, whilst the town centre with its tourist attractions can be reached in approximately 7 minutes on foot. Bali's capital, Denpasar, is around 25 km away, whilst Ngurah Rai International Airport is approximately 20 km from the accommodation. This property is set in an open-air courtyard, resplendent with pillars and a cooling fountain. The courtyard connects the mansion as a whole, instead of a more conventional hallway or corridor, and also stands as a place of tranquillity and reflection. The spa complex comprises a total of 3 guest rooms and welcomes its guests into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service and a hotel safe. On-site facilities include a TV lounge, a restaurant, a dining room and Internet access. Room and laundry services are provided, although the latter incurs an additional charge. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park, whilst those wishing to explore the local surroundings can hire bikes from reception. A touch of blue distinguishes the luxurious master suite, which is adorned with a silky Moroccan carpet sweeping across the cooling floor of traditional handmade tiles. All day long a light breeze refreshes the room from across the coconut grove, creating the perfect ambience in the sitting area in which to chill out. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower and bath, whilst the rooms come with double/king-size beds and facilities including a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access and a safe. The rooms also come with a kitchen with a minibar and tea and coffee making facilities, and individually regulated air conditioning and balconies or terraces come as standard.
