Overall it’s a very well presented resort with nice features in the Villas like wireless charging speakers and decent TV channels. Bed was also super comfortable and nice bathroom. The gym and number of sun loungers by the main pool is a little small but overall very nice. The breakfast is also lovely and food generally was great albeit a little expensive in the restaurant. Spa also very expensive compared to local places although we didn’t use it.
But…. there are a a few things to be aware of. We got food poisoning from dinner on the first night (we are 100% sure it was from here as we had eaten nothing else since breakfast that day and both shared the calamari) which made us cut short our day trip the next day and spend the remainder of our stay in bed / sat in the shade outside rather than do the other things we had planned. Unfortunately we weren’t compensated for this as we didn’t get a doctors certificate despite this not being mentioned to us as a requirement when we raised it initially. Not the worst thing to ever happen but did ruin the stay really.
Also, make sure you are very comfortable with nature. We had a large frog next to the toilet, geckos and flying things galore, and even had to move rooms as a large gecko was living in the ceiling (large was confirmed by staff) along with two small ones. Not really an issue apart from dropping poo and the large ones make loud noises at night! Also, the mosquito spray in the restaurant didn’t stop a rogue bite from getting through so use your own.
Finally, the pools and sun loungers are all facing south which means that maximum half the villa pool gets sun throughout the day when we were there (start of June) and none of the seating area. There is a sun lounger suspended over the villa pool which is cool but even then is never actually fully in the sun. I think this is the same for the main pool. Not one for sun bathers (although perfect for us feeling rough).

Rara vez los hoteles ofrecen una relación calidad-precio como la del García Ubud. Excelente y cálido servicio por parte del personal que atenderá sus necesidades a su antojo, hermosa ubicación y habitaciones cuidadosamente diseñadas. El único problema parece ser el mantenimiento de la propiedad con poco desgaste visible en la habitación a pesar de estar abierto solo durante dos años.

Location is quite close from the Ubud center, only 12-15 mins driving. Monkey forest and Bali safari are things to do on top of shopping or Ubud exploring. Value for money to stay at this hotel, promo helps.

Rarely do hotels offer such value for money as the Garcia Ubud. Excellent and warm service by the staffs who will cater to your needs on a whim, beautiful location and thoughtfully designed rooms. Only issue seems to be with the maintenance of the property with few visible wear and tear in the room despite being open only for two years.

El mini hotel es magnífico. El servicio de hospitalidad es de primera categoría, tienen el personal más amable y atento. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y cómodas. The mini hotel is superb. Hospitality service is top notch, they have the most kindest and attentive staffs. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I’d recommend the gym and yoga sharma too, especially during the sunset you can see such a beautiful view.Maybe for improvement: provide a bubble bath for the bathtub and breakfast can be improved, It was a lil bit bland the one I had.But overall, I had a pleasant stay. Keep it up!

Pequeno hotel boutique incrível. hospedado em uma de suas belas villas com vista para os arrozais. Os quartos, jardins e áreas públicas eram todos tão limpos e bem conservados. A comida no restaurante Ksuna era tão boa que acabamos tendo a maioria das nossas refeições no hotel, coquetéis muito bons também. O destaque para nós foi o quão amigável e útil a equipe foi, desde o gerente até a equipe de garçons, todos nos fizeram sentir como se fôssemos amigos de longa data. Este é um lugar tão especial e gostaríamos de voltar!

Increíble pequeño hotel boutique. Me alojé en una de sus hermosas villas con vista a los arrozales. Las habitaciones, los jardines y las áreas públicas estaban muy limpias y bien cuidadas. La comida en el restaurante Ksuna era tan buena que terminamos teniendo la mayoría de nuestras comidas en el hotel, los cócteles también son muy buenos. Lo más destacado para nosotros fue lo amable y servicial que fue el personal, desde el gerente hasta los camareros, todos nos hicieron sentir como si fuéramos amigos desde hace mucho tiempo. ¡Este es un lugar tan especial y nos encantaría volver!

Our stay was wonderful except for the lack of connectivity. The wifi wouldn’t work and though staff made an effort to fix it, it wasn’tresolved by the end of our stay. Had to put off a days work in order to deal with this issue. Asides from that it’s a great spot to stay. Garcia suite is beautiful.

Amazing little boutique hotel. Stayed in one of their beautiful villas overlooking the paddy fields. The rooms, gardens and public areas were all so clean and well maintained. The food at the Ksuna restaurant was so good we ended up having most of our meals at the hotel, Cocktails very good too. The highlight for us was how friendly and helpful the staff were, from the Manager to the wait staff they all made us feel like we were long time friends. This is such a special place and we’d love to come back!

El desayuno fue uno de los mejores desayunos de hotel que tuve en Bali. El spa era agradable (tienen baño onsen) y no tan caro. La habitación era espaciosa y cómoda, aunque no soy fanático del medio baño al aire libre (así que cuando llueve, el agua salpica por todas partes) y cuando me quedé allí, el área del baño huele raro. Pero fue solo una pequeña cosa, no me impedirá dar 5 estrellas.

Definitely value for money. With its affordable price tag compared to the nice room, nice food, and nice spa they offer, I’d recommend this hotel. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast I had in Bali. The spa was nice (they have onsen bath) and not that expensive. The room was spacious and comfy, although I’m not a fan of the half outdoor bathroom (so when it’s raining, the water just splashing all over) & when I stayed there the toilet area smells weird. But it was just small thing, not going to stop me giving 5 stars.

We stayed for silent day, and take a full package for our stay. Overall the have a good room, superb food, good facility. But dont know why they always miscommunication for our meal and when check out the bill us for food that we not order. The best part they blame each other and reasoned that we just opened again, even i know that they already open like a year ago while pandemic because my friends already stay there.
Please improve teamwork and hotel maintenance.

Restaurant food were all delicious. The chief has many years of experience working in fine dinning and in international cruise ships. The waitress was shintia. She was attentive to serve us even she has to walk many time back and ward from kitchen to our table. she deserved to be rewarded as the best employee of the month. During pandemic, She did not complain over her work nor the condition of her work life. She kept her face full of charm and sweet smile. I hope to stay longer on my next trip.

Inappropriate behavior of one of your staffs while checking out (18/12/2021): he asked me a question that violated my family's privacy. I would recommend you to train your staffs not to ask private questions that lead to your customers' inconvenience.Overall, my stay was nearly perfect. I would have given 5 stars if your staff behaved better.
