With lake and mountain views, the lodge has been lovingly restored with modern facilities, yet maintains its original charm. The interior includes the original oak panelling with rimu battening, polished timber floors and a number of unique architectural and design features of the era. The guest library/lounge has an open fire, tea/coffee, nibbles, reference library, TV, games and a computer. There is a patio with BBQ facilities, guest mountain bikes and laundry facilities. Guests may leave their suitcases and rental car at the Lodge if away on an overnight cruise.
