Real Inn is a great option with you are vacationing on a budget! the staff was lovely everybody was helpful and was willing to help when we had questions. We stayed at the hotel for five days and we ordered room service almost everyday since most restaurants are a little bit further away. The food at the hotel was decent but definitely not the best, the pool area is great and very quiet when we needed to relax but if the pool isn't your thing, the beach is only a short walk away. The lagoon view rooms are sooo worth it, the view is beautiful.
Some things that can be improved at the hotel:
- the bathroom floors are extremely slippery, so be cautious when going while it is still wet
- a fridge and microwave would definitely be helpful especially for people who stay for more than a couple of days.
- the rooms do get a little too cold

Well , first of all my phone was stolen from my charger, then they said it was my fault because my door didn't close all the way, I guess you need to slam the door shut every time. Next, the hotel itself is not bad at all, great location and view. But it has the worst service I have ever seen, especially if you are white! I travel for a living and stay at hotels regularly so I know what customer service is. I wish I would have stayed somewhere else, but Cancun is beautiful and they have some amazing tours... Do yourself a favor and don't stay here! I

The good:
Room service and restaurant food service was good. The restaurant was nice enough to accommodate special needs on request. The pool and lagoon view is great!
The bad:
Our room had issues. The AC seemed to work on only two modes, full continuous AC without temperature control or OFF. So our room would always be at 19c when we came back to the hotel. The shower floor is not leveled properly with the drain at the higher end of the slope. There was always so much water in the shower area and it would start smelling the next day. Didn't bother us too much since we were out most of the time.

I love this place. It’s not party central and has everything you need for a good vacation. Will definitely be coming back here in the future. I recommend getting a lagoon view room. It’s worth every dollar spent.
