"La scelta di Goethe" comes from far away, when in 1990 Mario Angelini bought "Dionora" for love. A wonderful property in the charming Tuscan hills, which he transformed into a beautiful relais, where the attention for the detail, the magic of the place and the hospitality made it a unique meeting place for the most demanding and refined guests. It's just in this way that "La Scelta di Goethe" was born, a luminous and peaceful isle in the heart of Rome, surrounded by a unique view, where ancient history is life's soundtrack. Two beautiful streets run along it, Via della Croce, that in the early morning still seems a village and where all the artisans greet and call eachother by names and Via Condotti, more frivolous and fashionable that accompanies you towards the steps of the Trinità dei Monti and other charming streets and alleys of the old town.
