Had the ocean view villa with a stunning scenery outside the windows.
From that aspect it would be an easy 4/5, but the breakfast could improve. If you stay for a week plan to eat elsewhere. The rooms could do an uplift as well, but ok for the price.

Great place, fab rooms, brilliant pool with lovely views. Staff are really friendly. Only issue is food at the restaurant is really bad. Everything else is great though and plenty of places to eat all around town. We would definitely stay here again and recommend. Just avoid eating there.

Fancy resort with a great view (not directly on the cliff though, so partial sea view). The rooms are amazingly clean, AC, and all the shabang that you would expect in a decent hotel. Beach and hype area of Kantiang bay are in walking distance (7 mins~). Good value for money.
It's a bit of a climb going back from the beach, so not very suitable if you are not fit or with a physical disability that would make this a challenge.

Nice pool with well maintained garden. However rooms are worn out and very poorly maintained. During our stay we had to pass several complaints- ie one of rooms missed hand shower(was fixed after few notices), another room had reading lamp electric wires not isolated and one adults got electric shock when trying to switch it on. Such sloppiness can be truly dangerous to children. Breakfast is served by chosen sets which are low value for money compared to other breakfast places around- in example Drunken Sailor, 100m from that place offers delicious food for 1/2 price.
In summum- great location with fantastic views and scenery. Badly managed property for stay.

Simple, clean and nice hotel on top of a hill. The beach is less than 10 minutes by feet. The room interior looks a little bit neglected and and there are no sets for the sun loungers and thus, they are quiet uncomfortable.

Came here for the views and I was not disappointed. Great hotel with great service. The rooms are big and clean with great views over looking the ocean. The pool a great place to relax after a long day in the beach. The bar has close during our stay due to low season. You can get pretty decent food at the local restaurant just 10 down the road and stop at the “why not bar” for great sunsets. The only thing I would recommend the hotel is to offer free transfers to the local beaches.

Got a deal in low season. Wonderful, bright cottages by the beautiful pool. Friendly staff who completed our requests immediately. Bed was a tad hard for my taste. Would definitely stay again.

Great value for money, lovely garden and pool, wonderful staff. We loved our stay there, the ladies at the reception and the restaurant were just the sweetest. The pool and garden were well taken care of. The rooms are huge, may seem a little worn down, but only if you are very demanding. For the price we got it was a steal. Great buffet breakfast with both european and local dishes. Highly recommended!!!

The most comfortable bed (+pillow) I had in Thailand so far. big sized. Bungalow super clean!
I found here on google negative comments about rooms above the kitchen and old worn down rooms -> do not refer to these, they must be meant for another hotel, not for Kantiang View Resort. Here all 9 Bungalows are pretty new, they do not have any room above the kitchen.
