As an asthmatic and someone who suffers from mild claustrophobia, it’s really important to be able to open the window of hotel rooms that I stay in. This is proving more and more difficult these days as so many hotels have no regard for guests basic need for fresh air. I was delighted that you can open the window in my room at this hotel. In Manchester for a conference, it is even more important to have fresh air when you’ve been inside all day.The rooms were bright, clean and spacious and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a long time - high, supportive and the right balance of firm and soft.24 hour room service and a good choice of items at breakfast.I’ll definitely be staying again.,

A great hotel in the perfect location for the centre and a short home after drinking! Front desk and the rooms were great. The breakfast quality was the weakest link. A little more selection and a higher quality would match the rest of the hotel.

Lovely hotel. Checking in was a pleasure with a really nice, friendly and talkative chap at the desk. We have a basic room but it's lovely. Spotlessly clean, 2nd floor, very modern great and green decor. Excellent location, just a brief walk away from Piccadilly and the city centre, and excellent value. Highly recommended!

This review is for Bradley at the reception. It was my husband’s birthday and I booked last minute with no certain expectations. Bradley was efficient, helpful and pleasant and even let us check in early which made our day. Apart from that, the Check in and check out was smooth. Can’t fault the room or the location. Will definitely stay again our next Manchester weekender.

Shampoo, gel de banho e sabonete foram fornecidos no banheiro. O quarto estava silencioso e eu não fui incomodado. Café-da-manhã foi excelente - estilo buffet com muitas possibilidades de escolha e alguns dos melhores alimentos de degustação que tive em um hotel recentemente. Todos os funcionários foram educados e eficientes. Muito fácil chegar a este hotel da estação Oxford Road, fica a cerca de 5 minutos a pé. Com certeza, ficaria aqui novamente.

A very comfortable room, with a double bed and a single, plenty of pillows, a good selection of tea/coffee, air conditioning which worked nicely. Shampoo, shower gel and hand soap were provided in the bathroom. The room was quiet and I was not disturbed. Breakfast was outstanding - buffet style with plenty of choice and some of the best tasting food I have had in a hotel recently. All the staff were polite and efficient. Very easy to get to this hotel from Oxford Road station, it's about a 5 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.

Eu usei este hotel para ficar depois da minha formatura para um pouco de relaxamento. Foi honestamente uma das camas mais confortáveis que eu já tinha dormido. O quarto era espaçoso, luminoso e tinha uma decoração encantadora. O check-in e o check-out foram fáceis, minha bolsa foi deixada enquanto eu fazia minha cerimônia. A uma curta distância de tudo o que eu precisava, estação de trem, pubs, café e comida. O canal fica ao longo da parte de trás também se você gosta de uma caminhada. Provavelmente lá em cima como um dos melhores hotéis em que já fiquei.

I used this hotel to stay after my graduation for a bit of relaxation. It was honestly one of the comfiest beds I had ever slept in. The room was spacious, light and had lovely decoration.
Checking in and out was easy, my bag was able to be left their while I had my ceremony.
Within walking distance to everything I needed, train station, pubs, coffee and food. The canal is along the back too if you fancy a walk.
Probably up there as one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.

Já fiquei aqui algumas vezes e é sempre uma chegada acolhedora na área do lobby em plano aberto. O processo de check-in é sempre concluído rapidamente e os elevadores rápidos nunca precisam de espera. Há muitos lugares sentados na área do lobby e sempre há um burburinho sobre isso.Todas as áreas comuns são modernas e limpas e os quartos continuam essa experiência. Há certamente uma variedade de tamanhos para os quartos, alguns bastante apertados e outros muito mais espaçosos, mas cada um tem as mesmas comodidades, incluindo tomadas elétricas ao lado da cama e ar condicionado eficiente. Para uma estadia curta, sempre houve um bom número de cabides nos guarda-roupas e espaço de armazenamento adequado com ótima qualidade do sono - nenhum ruído do lado de fora ou dos quartos adjacentes.O bar principal do hotel fica no porão, então sofre com a falta de luz natural e se sente um pouco claustrofóbico. A equipe é boa o suficiente, mas combinada com a escassez regular de estoque, certamente não é um "destino" com as opções alternativas nas proximidades.Dependendo do que você classifica como central para a cidade, ou onde você precisa estar, significa que a localização pode não ser a ideal, mas mesmo uma caminhada de quinze minutos até as áreas centrais não foi um problema para mim, sabendo que será uma estadia confortável e agradável sempre - se o preço for justo, é sempre uma consideração para mim.

I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s always a welcoming arrival in the open plan lobby area. The check in process is always completed quickly and the fast lifts never need waiting for. There’s lots of seating within the lobby area and always has a buzz about it.All the communal areas are modern and clean and the rooms continue that experience. There’s certainly a range of sizes to the rooms, some being rather cramped and others much more spacious, but each has the good same facilities including electric sockets next to the bed and efficient air conditioning. For a short stay there has always been a good number of hangers in the wardrobes and adequate storage space with the sleep quality great - no noise from outside or adjacent rooms.The main hotel bar is in the basement so suffers with the lack of any natural light and felt somewhat claustrophobic. The staff are nice enough, but combined with regular stock shortages its certainly no ‘destination’ with the alternative nearby options.Depending on what you class as central for the city, or where you need to be, means the location might not be ideal, but even taking a fifteen minute walk to central areas hasn’t been a problem for me knowing that it’ll be a comfortable and pleasant stay every time - if the price is right it’s always a consideration for me.

Great location which is walking distance to both Oxford Road and Deansgate train station. The tram stop is equally near. Rooms are modern with all the amenities we required. The lighting was a bit underwhelming and didn't really illuminate the room. There was also some noise from the corridors. Good value considering the dates we stayed

Booked for a Friday night stay. £88 so not bad for two for a weekend stop over. Check in roughly took less than a minute and check out consisted of a key drop box, I appreciated the simplicity here. The room was big enough and the beds comfy too. A decent shower too. Location is great and 2 mins walk from Deansgate metro.

Não posso culpar o quarto e as comodidades, além da localização é ótima, mas devido a uma situação imprevista de alarme de incêndio às 2 da manhã, acordei do meu sono e não consegui voltar a dormir depois.Não houve comunicação sobre o que fazer nem ninguém veio verificar / explicar e a recepção não atendeu ao telefone. Isso não foi bem tratado.O que paguei pelo quarto foi acima das probabilidades da experiência para o que poderia ter uma estadia muito mais agradável do que estou acostumado em hotéis de padrão semelhante.

Can’t fault the room and the amenities plus the location is great but due to an unforeseen fire alarm situation at 2am, I was awoken from my sleep and couldn’t get back to sleep after.There was no communication as to what to do nor did anyone come round to check/explain and reception didn’t answer the phone. This was not handled well.What I paid for the room was over the odds for the experience for what could have more a much more pleasant stay as what I’m used to in hotels of a similar standard.

I loved the small and cozy room with the big bed. The late checkout at 12 made it even better. Unfortunately the stuff was having great fun and some loud laughter too - from 7:30 am. Be aware that there is no parking available right at the hotel, but you get 25% off when you park at one of the recommended car parks around the corner. Just call the Hotline to get the adresses of the car parks.

Bom limpo e tranquilo. Funcionários simpáticos muito prestativos que oferecem um serviço profissional com o mais caloroso dos sorrisos. O café da manhã é gostoso e há uma grande variedade de comida para escolher. Nunca consegui usar o restaurante ou bar como fechado devido ao covid, mas isso não estragou a nossa estadia. Os quartos são perfeitos e é ótimo ter um ferro e tábua de passar roupa em cada quarto. Cama muito confortável e dormi como um bebê. Obrigado por uma ótima estadia.

Nice clean and quiet.Very helpful friendly staff who deliver a professional service with the warmest of smiles. Breakfast is tasty and there is a large selection of food to choose from. Never got to use the restaurant or bar as closed due to covid but this did not spoil our stay. Rooms are just right and it is great to have an iron and ironing board in each room. Bed very comfortable and slept like a baby. Thank you for a great stay.

Nos hospedamos en este hotel durante 4 noches para ver Manchester y Liverpool. El edificio es bastante moderno, orientado al auto-servicio ya que cuenta con dos puestos equipados con sendos ordenadores táctiles con los que puedes hacerte tú mismo tanto el check-in como el check-out, puesto que incluso tienen capacidad para expender la tarjeta llave contactless que abre la habitación. La primera habitación en la que nos hospedamos era muy agradable, estaba situada en el primer piso, era espaciosa, disponia de un televisor, un armario, un escritorio con silla y una bandeja-tetera con dos tazas y varios tipos de infusiones (café, café descafeinado y té). El baño era también amplio, equipado con bañera. El problema vino cuando descubrimos que el termostato de la habitación no funcionaba, por lo que la habitación estaba fría continuamente. Hablamos con recepción y nos dijeron que lo ponían activar ellos manualmente mediante su sistema informático. Así lo hicieron en teoría, pero a nuestra vuelta por la noche seguía fría. Bajé a recepción y volví a contar la historia, me volvieron a decir que lo activaban desde su sistema centralizado, que en unos 10 minutos estaría caliente la habitación. Más de media hora más tarde seguía sin haber señales de la calefacción, así que llamé por teléfono a recepción para contarles lo ocurrido y pedir al menos un duvet extra tras lo cual nos subieron un calefactor, un duvet y unas disculpas. Al día siguiente nos dirigimos a recepción para asegurarnos de que esta solución era temporal y nos ofrecieron cambiar de habitación o quedarnos en esa llamando por teléfono a recepción cada vez que quisiéramos activar la calefacción (sistema que ya habíamos probado la noche anterior como he reparado, y que había fracasado), ante lo cual escogimos un cambio de habitación. Aquí viene la razón por la que le otorgo dos estrellas: nos asignaron una habitación mucho peor que la que nos estábamos alojando, ya que estaba mucho más lejos (era la última del quinto piso), era la mitad grande, el baño diminuto (esta vez con plato de ducha y un lavabo notablemente más pequeño que el anterior) y era un tanto claustrofóbica. Eso sí, el termostato funcionaba a las mil maravillas. Tras esto ya no quisimos insistir más, pero obviamente nos pareció una manera deplorable de tratar a unos clientes a los que se les ha causado una molestia que les ha costado un resfriado. En conclusión, el hotel nos pareció de unas calidades correctas, pero el trato no nos pareció muy empático, quizás fue sólo casualidad, o no, pero esta fue nuestra experiencia.
