My husband and I spent five nights here for our honeymoon and had the loveliest time. Siwi and the rest of their staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful without being overbearing and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The free breakfast and afternoon tea along with the free shuttle to and from town whenever you want and their fantastic location add heaps of value to an already more than fair rate. The food was great and their pool was so cute and refreshing - they brought a free beverage every time we sat there. Our room was clean and cared for and the balcony overlooking the rice field was gorgeous. We were so sad to leave and highly recommend this place! WE MISS YOU, JUNJUNGAN HOTEL AND SPA!!!

A unique hotel in a way. We (a couple with a 2 year old kid) stumbled upon this hotel by an accident ,went to check the rooms and the rate and fell in love with the room. It had all the things I like: 4 poster bed, beautiful stone floors, rattan fan, wooden antique doors, oil nebuliser (!) and even a ps3 in the room! Big large bath tub. Every detail to perfection. A small balcony with a view on rice paddies and pool in the yard. The big surprise for me was to see a quite a big stream running at the ground floor of the hotel , never seen something like this. Plus the sound of running water makes the sound of cars or motorbikes vanish.
And more : complimentary afternoon tea, free shuttle bus and complimentary fruits and drinks upon arrival.
Another big plus: they serve lunch and a dinner. We tried food for lunch, it was really well prepared.
I was happy to stay here and want to say big thanks to the receptionists. Impeccable and polite way to talk to customers with an excellent English . Very attentive approach. You made us feel special. Big thumbs up. And thanks to the very friendly staff too. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway in Ubud.

Although location is far from center of ubud, Hotel provides shuttle to center at request.
Positive: kind staffs, free trekking tour on every Monday
Negative: building and facility is too aged and Room light is too dark ( Sun light is not reach to room and almost dining place )
Sometimes I enjoyed traditional old balinese rooms. But this is not that type. Simple steel structured building and add on balinese decoration.
This is third time visit to ubud. Hotel meets value of cost. But Ubud has a lot of option to choose many accommodations.
