Disfruté de mi estadía. ¡Es un hotel limpio y a un precio razonable con un buen desayuno justo en un vecindario en el que quería estar! Creo que está destinado a los huéspedes de la clínica adyacente, pero no es exclusivo, por lo que si su negocio lo lleva a esta parte de Berlín, debería echarle un vistazo.

Gostei da minha estadia. É um hotel limpo e com preços razoáveis, com um bom café da manhã bem no bairro onde eu queria estar! Acho que se destina a hóspedes da clínica adjacente, mas não é exclusiva, portanto, se sua empresa o leva a esta parte de Berlim, dê uma olhada adequada.

Enjoyed my stay. It's a clean and reasonably-priced hotel with a good breakfast right in a neighborhood I wanted to be in! I think it is intended for guests of the adjacent clinic, but not exclusive, so if your business takes you to this part of Berlin, you should give this properly a look.

La recepcionista fue muy amable. Las habitaciones son modernas y limpias. El baño con ducha tenía todo lo que un hombre o una mujer necesitarían. La corta distancia al DHZB es especialmente perfecta para familiares. Hay suficientes plazas de aparcamiento gratuitas en los alrededores y muchos restaurantes.

A recepcionista foi muito amigável. Os quartos são modernos e limpos. O banheiro com chuveiro tinha tudo o que um homem ou mulher precisaria. A curta distância para o DHZB é especialmente perfeita para parentes. Existem lugares de estacionamento gratuitos suficientes na área circundante e muitos restaurantes.

The receptionist was very friendly. The rooms are modern and clean. The bathroom with shower had everything a man or woman would need. The short distance to the DHZB is especially perfect for relatives. There are enough free parking spaces in the surrounding area and many restaurants.

Siempre es agradable aquí, las habitaciones son buenas y limpias, el desayuno es excelente, todo lo que necesitas. El estacionamiento está un poco alejado, por lo que solo cuatro estrellas de cinco. Me gustaría volver de nuevo.

We had had a terrible transport day having been in 5 airports during the day travelling from Poland through Belgium to Berlin due to fog....delays...rerouting etc.
We kindly called Hotel Axel Springer to let them know about our day and that we would be arriving after midnight. We also asked if they could possibly order a taxi for 5.45am for us to go to Berlin airport the next morning for our final 20 hour leg home to Australia!
As their reception is open from 6am to 10pm, coming in after midnight and leaving before 6am seemed to have freaked them out, so instead of talking to us about it over that phone call, they finished the call with us and immediately tried to access our card for payment. There was a slight problem in that we were given a renewal of the card prior to our European trip and the only thing that had changed was the expiry date. We received an email telling us that the card was invalid and to contact the hotel within 24 hours!!!! Well, we had just got off the phone with them and called back immediately and continued calling from 8.30pm to 9.30pm with no response!!!! before we boarded our plane to Berlin. Once in Berlin we hired a taxi to take us to the hotel and there we stood at a locked door and gate speaking to a rude lady over an intercom. 'You cannot stay here. You have not paid' she said. We could not believe it!!! She gave us no room to explain and we were now standing in a dark street with all our luggage....literally stranded!!!
We had to quickly grab the taxi before it drove away and after dropping in to 2 hotels nearby....the first was full, we finally found accommodation at 1.30am at the secong hotel and slept there for 5 hours!!! for 200 Euro!!! (they only had a suite available) and guess what...our card was good!!
We have stayed in many establishments around the world...from boutique hotels, hostels and grand 6 star resorts and have never written a bad review....but our feeling is that we will never book with this hotel again....they are certainly not in the 'people' business or 'hospitality' and there are many other hotels/airbnbs out there to choose from.....don't sell yourself short by booking with Hotel Axel Springer....not worth the anxed!!

I had lot of problems with payment and check out. During my first day lady in the reception told me to pay the last day. As my train was leaving saturday at 6:30 in the morning, Friday evening I wanted to pay in the reception and ask for the invoice. Lady told me: tomorrow, now credit cards only. I asked: are you sure I can pay with cash at 5:40 in the morning and I get the invoice? she confirmed. In the morning the man at the reception didnt speak any english, he told me that he cannot give me the change because somebody with the key to the money box arrives 6:30 and he said he could not print me an invoice. I was stressed waiting 20 minutes and left with nothing. I am very dissatisfied with the service
