Living luxury isn't gold, champagne or expensive clothing. Living luxury is dedicated to what is good, what is real. It is found in the little things which surprise and delight us. In furnishings created by regional craftsmen, in steaks served in the restaurant which are allowed to mature in the meat safe until they reach perfection, in the cakes made by the hotel's own patissiers. All of these represent commitment to handmade products. Living luxury continues the legacy of manual craftsmanship. As a philosophy, as an approach. Already a centre for trade and bustling activity many centuries ago, at the present day the Gewandhaus continues to open its doors wide to the city of Dresden and its people, welcoming visitors with its show bakery and restaurant, not only on an everyday basis but also for special events.

Had a great time here. Bed was super comfortable, great attention to detail, marble bathroom with huge bathtub just amazing :) Staff at the front desk was among the friendliest I’ve seen. Overall highly recommended and will definitely visit again. The TV has no internet connection at night, would be great if that can get fixed.

Absolutely beautiful hotel that’s in a great, walkable location. The rooms are sizable and appointed with some chic furniture. The food is pretty good, both breakfast and room service, and they have a nice bar in the lobby. The staff is friendly and welcoming too. My only minor issue was that the ac was running so the room was quite cold, and I couldn’t get the heat to turn on. Ended up just keeping the air off so it wasn’t a big deal. Definitely would stay here again!

My boyfriend and I went to Dresden for a few days and stayed at the Gewandhaus. The hotel was so much more than we were expecting! Every aspect of the interior of the hotel was lovely - the rooms, the foyer, even the restaurant where breakfast was served was fantastic! The staff were very professional and personable (not something to expect in most of Germany so this was a really nice surprise).

We were very happy. The pool was lovely. I do wish it had been a little warmer. The sauna and steam room are only open 6-11, and we had to ask the team to turn it on. the pool has the odd noises that make it sound like you're at a convention and none of the massagers worked. Still, would definitely book again.

Let’s begin my review that it was our second hotel within one week since we were on the family vacation. Coming from Berlin we didn’t expect much but wow. This hotel is amazing! As soon as you enter, receptionist meeting you by the bar where you check in. No words to explain how luxuries, clean, chick the hotel is. The stuff is also wonderful. All of them are very healthful and professional. We had a small issue but the hotel took care of it. The king room is absolutely amazing, I didn’t want to leave Dresden and this hotel. Everything was super clean and fresh. Beautiful bathroom with marble and huge mirrors. The breakfast is worth to add to your reservation - just delicious! They have small sauna and pool and the bottom floor. No parking anymore from July 1, 2022. Not sure where should you park now. We are already planing our next trip in December to Dresden with the kids and 100% staying there again! Thank you for such an amazing service! Will see you soon.

Aconchegante hotel é ótima localização. Você está bem central e tudo está a uma curta caminhada de distância. A única coisa que tivemos azar com o quarto foi que algo causou ruídos durante a noite anterior e dificultou muito o sono. Caso contrário, não há reclamação. Altamente recomendado e com prazer novamente.

Un hotel acogedor tiene una excelente ubicación. Estás bastante céntrico y todo está a un corto paseo. Lo único que tuvimos mala suerte con la habitación fue que algo causó ruidos durante la última noche y nos hizo muy difícil conciliar el sueño. De lo contrario, no hay queja. Muy recomendable y con mucho gusto de nuevo.

Demos uma olhada em Dresden e era importante para nós ter um hotel central. Este hotel está perfeitamente localizado a uma curta caminhada de quase todas as principais atrações do centro histórico. Este hotel não apenas se encaixa perfeitamente com a arquitetura da cidade velha, mas também vale uma visita em outros aspectos. O serviço é excelente, a comida excepcional e a limpeza inigualável. Echamos un vistazo a Dresde y era importante para nosotros tener un hotel céntrico. Este hotel está perfectamente ubicado a poca distancia a pie de casi todas las atracciones principales del casco antiguo. Este hotel no solo encaja perfectamente con la arquitectura del casco antiguo, sino que también merece una visita en otros aspectos. Lovely hotel in Ringstraße Dresden that offers high class comfort. The staff is awesome, reads guests minds and helps wherever they can. The in-house steakhouse „[m]eatery“ is delicious. The meat is the best in the city in my opinion. Get a red wine recommendation as the waiters really know their business.

Very nice.Bedrooms are suites.Bathtub whirlpool! Yes!The spa/pool area was nice.I like the fact that they had large bottles of soap and lotion in the bathrooms (but no conditioner)!I find that environmentally conscious and at the same time feels luxury, double positive.We got welcomed with some yummy in house chocolates.Bath towels are so soft and absorbent (I know funny comment but the small things matter), I haven’t experienced such softness in a JW!The restaurant was very good for dinner. We had New Year’s Eve dinner there.My kids inhaled the burgers. You know it’s good when they don’t touch the fries until the end!Breakfast was typical, except they had all kinds of teas.The only thing was the location of the TV, you couldn’t watch in bed,had to watch on the couch and even that angle wasn’t the best. (TV matters when it’s raining outside).

Stayed in the Gewandhaus Dresden (Marriott Autograph Collection) for a business trip: really cool check-in concept: front-desk is included in the bar at the hotel entrance. Elegant city hotel with great interior. Room was nice (bath had a whirlpool function). Outdoor parking (fee) is available next to the hotel. All relevant Dresden sights are close.

Absolutely first class hotel in the heart of Dresden. Classical architecture but with modern facilities. Excellent restaurant focuses on meat. Friendly and efficient staff, large quality selection for breakfast. Although an independent, guests can benefit from Marriott affiliation.
