Was going on a trip, had vehicle trouble halfway to our destination. While the vehicle is being serviced we had to find a place for the night. They have very friendly staff, room was clean, great restaurant attached to the hotel. For an unplanned stay in Charleston, this hotel was wonderful. If I'm back in this city again in the future, I will definitely be staying at this location again.

The bed was cozy… however what is clean to folks these days?? The layer of thick dust in the room?? Seriously if a guess can see it without looking that means it’s dirty..

The beds were comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately, the hotel lacked staffing for house keeping and was short on supplies for the hotel guest rooms such as coffee and the stirrers and microwave ovens. Although the view to the river and boulevard was nice, it was too noisy for my taste. You can hear cars and trains passing by and sirens. The registration desk and hotel maids were nice and friendly people.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view of the river! Clean, comfortable, large TV and exactly what I’d expect from a Marriott! The bar has a great mixologist and prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is at your cost, and it’s not worth it. Really the only negative I can say here as the food was bland and not good. The eggs and bacon reminded me of a hotel complimentary breakfast buffet but you pay a premium price for it. I’d suggest walking down the river and there are plenty of awesome restaurants to eat at for any meal. The hotel is also attached to an amazing sports bar with great staff, delicious food and great reasonably priced drinks! A must go for lunch or dinner while you are staying here.

We had a very long drive from Wichita Ks to here and needed to park a large moving truck. Promise and Cheryl were so helpful. They went above and beyond to help us figure out parking. It was such a relief after the stressful drive. The room was clean and comfy. We will be staying here again. Highly recommend this hotel! And extra thanks to Promise and Cheryl!
