Stayed here Sat night 03/28, the perfect spot to see Old San Juan in 24 hrs.
The staff, (Gladys, Vivianna and Angel treated us like old friends, helped us feel comfortable after a long drive from Rincon' - the hotel's located in the heart of the Old city so we were able to see much of the history. We completed our day at Triana for tapas and Flemenco dancing

No geral, a experiência no Decanter Hotel é muito boa e eu recomendaria ficar. O serviço foi excelente e muito atencioso. O quarto era limpo e agradável. A localização é absolutamente perfeita. Meu único problema é que eles nunca tiveram garrafas de água adicionais à mão. Depois de terminarmos as nossas garrafas no quarto no primeiro dia, pedimos duas vezes mais água durante dois dias e estavam sempre em falta. Não é uma coisa horrível de forma alguma, mas acho que algo como a água nunca deveria acabar.

Overall the experience at Decanter Hotel is very good and I would recommend staying. Service was great and very attentive. The room was clean and nice. Location is absolutely perfect. My only issue is they never had additional water bottles on hand. After finishing our bottles in the room the first day, we asked twice for additional water over two days and they were always out of stock. Not a horrible thing by any means, but I think something like water should never run out.

Charming hotel in the heart of the old San Juan. You’ll be at a walking distance from many, many shops, restaurants and historical sites.
The staff at Decanter went above and beyond on multiple occasions to make sure my stay was pleasant, and for that reason I’ll choose Decanter whenever I return to San Juan.

Cons:
I found dust in the room in multiple spots
The door knob in the shower was loose
The a/c was not working well and I did inform the staff they told me the technician was coming but the a/c still was not working properly
The rooftop is lacking lights in the night time
Pros:
Very friendly staff
Affordable hotel
The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and other attractions
They spray your suitcase when you arrive
Hand sanitizer is located near the elevator
If they making those few changes I will come back.
