Fuimos la víspera de año nuevo para un desayuno especial con nuestra hija y nuestro novio. Vivimos y trabajamos localmente, así que conocemos a una de las recepcionistas, así que le pedimos que nos reservara una mesa. Llegamos y la recepcionista ni siquiera parecía saber que teníamos una reserva o una mesa especial reservada. Nos quedamos después de tomarnos la temperatura para encontrar nuestro propio camino a cualquier mesa. Se supone que es un hotel de cinco estrellas, de ninguna manera. Elegimos nuestra mesa, nos sentamos y esperamos. !!! La chica que servía era educada pero sin calidez ni alegría, teniendo en cuenta que el restaurante estaba casi vacío y era la víspera de año nuevo. La comida era satisfactoria, nada especial. En general, extremadamente decepcionante, no lo recomendaré ni volveré. Alguien necesita dar lecciones de habilidades a algunas personas a su personal, especialmente en estos tiempos difíciles, cuando la atención y el servicio deben ser importantes. El dinero se gana con esfuerzo y el servicio debe ser de cinco estrellas, dondequiera que estemos.

We went new,s year eve for a special breakfast with our daughter and boyfriend. We live and work locally, so we know 1 of the receptionists ,so asked her to book a table for us.We arrived and the receptionist didn't even seem to know we had a booking,or a special table reserved!!!
We were left after having our temperature taken to find our own way to any table?Supposed to be a five star hotel,no way.
We chose our table,sat ourselves down and waited.!!!
The girl serving was polite but no warmth or joy,considering the restaurant was almost empty and it was new years eve?
Food was satisfactory, nothing special,.
Overall extremely disappointing, will not recommend or return.
Someone needs to give some people skill lessons to their staff,,especially in these difficult times,when care and service should matter!Money is hard earned and service should be five star,,wherever we are.

O restaurante e o respectivo serviço não é consentâneo com um hotel de 5 estrelas. Os menus da página web não correspondem ao que se encontra no restaurante e se está á procura de pratos vegetarianos esqueça não existem. A comida não tem merece o preço que se paga. Menos por más ...Estábamos ansiosos por esta estancia, ya que apreciamos el enfoque de diseño y la dedicación anunciada por los alimentos y productos locales producidos localmente. Además, las áreas públicas parecían ser un lugar muy prometedor para relajarse o tomar una copa de vino, etc.El concepto material y la sensación del lugar están realmente bien hechos y son bastante agradables. En relación al precio que pide este lugar, la mayoría de los otros aspectos son desafortunadamente inaceptables.Si ofrece habitaciones de diseño mínimo, es obligatorio que haya espacio para la ropa y el almacenamiento. Durante nuestra estadía, el aspecto de nuestra habitación estuvo dominado por nuestras cosas, que simplemente no pudimos poner en ningún lado. No hay armario ni lugar para poner las maletas, sino en el suelo, en medio de la habitación. Frente a la cama estarás frente al lavabo, que se llenará con tus cosméticos sin dejar espacio para el jabón. Las mesitas junto a tu cama están completamente ocupadas por lámpara de escritorio, teléfono y equipo de música. Podría continuar más, pero supongo que eso da una impresión y continúa en todos los aspectos de este lugar, en el sentido de haber tenido un buen concepto, que realmente no se llevó a cabo muy bien y se cobra absolutamente demasiado caro. Por nombrar algunos ejemplos más de esto: selección mínima de desayuno, menú fijo para la cena que consta de platos que ya se sirvieron durante el día, cantidad insuficiente de sillas de escritorio en la piscina, pasta demasiado cocida, personal sobrecargado ...Por la mitad o dos tercios del precio, esto se sentiría bien, pero de esa manera simplemente nos sentimos estafados ...

Pro - Personal muy amable - Habitaciones / cabañas bien diseñadas y amuebladas - Una joya escondida y tranquila en Lagos - La cocina tiene buena calidad y comida fresca. Me encanta cómo cultivan sus propias frutas y verduras y son muy conscientes de la comida y la naturaleza.Contras - La elección en el desayuno es demasiado limitada si se queda más de unos días. No hay buffet, pero puede pedir platos específicos, que están limitados por una selección máxima de platos incluidos. - Estaban limpiando con aspiradora la sala de desayunos a las 10:30 am mientras los invitados aún estaban desayunando. - El personal del restaurante es muy amable pero carece de experiencia. - La lista de vinos podría haber sido un poco más larga con más vinos no portugueses. - El jabón / champú ecológico no funciona realmente. - Poco o ningún espacio de almacenamiento para la ropa en la habitaciónResumen: un hotel muy agradable y bien diseñado con un personal amable, pero ciertamente no de 5 estrellas. El desayuno incluido debería significar que puede comer y beber todo lo que quiera sin cargos adicionales. Realmente deberían pensar en un desayuno buffet en lugar de un menú limitado y más variedad. Muchos invitados lo agradecerían mucho más.

Gran habitación moderna (inconvenientes: sin televisión, insonorización deficiente y sin estantes / armario). Las camas eran cómodas y la ducha y la bañera eran muy grandes. El patio interior es realmente fantástico para un hotel en el medio del casco antiguo. Teníamos una botella fría de vino rosado en la habitación al llegar, ¡realmente genial! Encontramos el desayuno regular, ya que la selección era limitada (y muy poca) y el dulce del día era el muffin de col rizada 4 días seguidos ... ¡El bar hace un mega éxito de albahaca! Básicamente un hotel sólido, puede hacer 😊 p.s. Al llegar, recibimos un paquete de higiene con el propósito de Corona (¡gran idea y productos muy valiosos!

We were really looking forward to this stay as we appreciated the design approach and the advertised dedication for locally produced food and local products. Also the public areas seemed to be very promising place to relax or have a nice glass of wine, etc.
The material concept and the feel of the place is actually well done and quite nice. In relation to the price this place asks for, most other aspects are unfortunately unacceptable.
If you offer a minimally designed rooms, it is mandatory that there is space for clothes and storage.
During our stay the look of our room was dominated by our stuff, that we just couldn't put anywhere. There is no cupboard and no place to put your suitcases but on the floor in the middle of the room.
Opposite the bed you will face the washing basin, that will be filled with your cosmetics not even leaving space for the soap. The side tables next to your bed are completely occupied by desk lamp, phone and music system..
I could continue further, but I guess that gives an impression and continues throughout every aspect of this place, in the sense of having had a good concept, that was really not carried out very well and is charged absolutely overpriced.
To just name some more examples of this: minimal breakfast selection, set dinner menu that consists of dishes that were already served during the day, insufficient amounts of desk chairs at the pool, overcooked pasta, overburdened staff....
For half or two thirds of the price, this would feel nice, but that way we just felt ripped off....

- The kitchen has good quality and fresh food. I love how they grow their own fruit and vegetables and are very concious with food and nature.
Con‘s
- The choice at breakfast is too limited if you stay more than a few days. There’s no buffet, but you can order specific dishes, which are limited by a maximum choice of dishes included.
- They were vacuum cleaning the breakfast room at 10:30am while guests were still having breakfast.
- The restaurant staff is very friendly but lack some experience.
- The winelist could have been a bit longer with more non-Portugese wines.
- Eco soap/shampoo is not really working.
- Little /no storage space for clothes in the room
Recap: a very nice and well designed hotel with friendly staff but certainly not 5-stars. Breakfast included should mean you can eat and drink as much as you like without extra charges. They should really think about a breakfast buffet instead of a limited menu and more variety. A lot of guests would appreciate it much more.

We spent our vacation wondering if we were going to find the nice boutique hotels we usually seek out, instead of the masses of giant all-inclusive tourist trap hotels that are everywhere in the algarve, and on our before to last night, here it is.This was absolutely wonderful, to the vibrant, joyful and beautiful staff, great food, and a really Mediterranean room that made me feel like I was in Greece. Beautiful pool area. Only negative is this was not an ideal setting for our 3 year old son, so it was perfect we spent one night here, and perhaps one day return on a couples' vacation :)

Such a beautiful and charming property! You can see all the love and care that went into creating this stunning resort, which is why I give this place a solid 5 stars! My only critique would be although everything is beautifully designed, some things aren't as functional as they could be, the key for the room is on a giant key chain, parking is quite the challenge and there's no place to put your luggage in the room.I love this place and will definitely be back!
