We stayed here for 2 days and had the most relaxing time! My dog loved it here . It was very green and peaceful. Jack who is the manager and chef treated us with the local delicacies. He also baked a special plum cake which was very yummy! Definitely a must visit ! Ficamos aqui por 2 dias e tivemos o tempo mais relaxante! Meu cachorro adorou aqui. Era muito verde e tranquilo. Jack, que é o gerente e chef, nos tratou com as iguarias locais. Ele também assou um bolo de ameixa especial que estava muito gostoso! Definitivamente uma visita obrigatória!

We really enjoyed our stay at the old cattle shed. This guest house is located on a coffee estate / farm in the Wayanad district. This was our first time booking with Ama Stays. It was a great experience. The caretaker and chef - Jackson was amazing. He contacted us before our stay to ask our meal preferences. Every meal we had there was delicious. He accommodated our tastes with a wide variety of cuisine. We mainly had more local Kerala dishes, but we had North Indian and Chinese as well. The breakfasts were the best. There were also 2 women that helped with cleaning and keeping the place tidy. We will definitely come back here in the future. The house itself was also clean and well designed. Each bedroom had access to the long balcony and you could keep the windows open for a nice indoor / outdoor feel. Thanks again for a great experience. Nós realmente apreciamos a nossa estadia no antigo galpão de gado. Esta pousada está localizada em uma propriedade/fazenda de café no bairro de Wayanad. Esta foi a nossa primeira reserva com Ama Stays. Foi uma ótima experiência. O zelador e chef - Jackson foi incrível. Ele nos contatou antes de nossa estadia para perguntar nossas preferências de refeição. Cada refeição que tivemos lá foi deliciosa. Ele acomodou nossos gostos com uma grande variedade de cozinha. Tínhamos principalmente mais pratos locais de Kerala, mas também comíamos do norte da Índia e da China. O café da manhã foi o melhor. Havia também 2 mulheres que ajudavam na limpeza e na arrumação do local. Nós definitivamente voltaremos aqui no futuro. A casa em si também era limpa e bem projetada. Cada quarto tinha acesso à longa varanda e você podia manter as janelas abertas para uma agradável sensação interna / externa. Obrigado novamente por uma ótima experiência.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia en el antiguo establo de ganado. Esta casa de huéspedes está ubicada en una finca/finca cafetera en el distrito de Wayanad. Esta fue la primera vez que reservamos con Ama Stays. Fue una gran experiencia. El cuidador y el chef, Jackson, fue increíble. Se puso en contacto con nosotros antes de nuestra estadía para preguntarnos nuestras preferencias de comida. Cada comida que tuvimos allí fue deliciosa. We had one of our most memorable stays at The Old Cattle Shed, Wayanad, Ama stays and trails. It was a hidden treasure discovered amidst nature. Chef Shreyans was a fantastic cook and host who pampered us absolutely. He worked so hard and with such passion that we felt so at home and relaxed. This place was like Nirvana! Thank you Ama and Chef Shreyans along with the local staff. We longed to stay longer in this blissful place. Tivemos uma de nossas estadias mais memoráveis no The Old Cattle Shed, Wayanad, estadias e trilhas de Ama. Foi um tesouro escondido descoberto no meio da natureza. O Chef Shreyans foi um cozinheiro e anfitrião fantástico que nos mimou absolutamente. Ele trabalhou tanto e com tanta paixão que nos sentimos tão em casa e relaxados. Este lugar era como o Nirvana! Chef Shreyansh is a wonderful human being & a good chef! Hospitality was grade A+. The kerela cuisine was very tasty. It was a detoxification to the soul visiting the place. Would definitely recommend if you are in for a relaxing stay. Foi uma estadia agradável aqui. Tínhamos uma reserva de 1 dia, o que não foi suficiente 😄 A propriedade está muito bem conservada, com uma casa aconchegante e muito verde ao redor! Enjoyed the drives and landscapes of the district immensely, not to mention the comfortable stay with AMA!! Tivemos um tempo muito memorável nesta casa contemporânea com boa comida e um ambiente verdejante! O Chef Shreyans foi uma boa companhia e nos deu deliciosas refeições todos os dias! Gostei imensamente dos passeios e das paisagens do bairro, sem falar da estadia confortável com a AMA!!

Upkeep is what you expect of a Taj property. The views from the balcony and entire house is simply green, even in the middle of summer. Didn't require ACs. Definitely recommend! The Old Cattle Shed is a two-bedroom, two-storey bungalow situated in the midst of 25-acre coffee plantation estate. The house gets its name from the traditional Kerala-style roof tiles, wooden columns and design elements that were repurposed from a 50 year-old cattle shed that once stood here. The highlight though, is the bungalow’s stilt architecture that stands out beautifully with the raw touch of wood and stone in almost all the spaces. Guests can take time at exploring the lush green surroundings of the bungalow or simply enjoy the awe-inspiring views from the porch while they sip on coffee from the estate.
