Lucky enough to stay with Rosemary for a couple of nights in February 2021 on a short notice trip to Paris. The apartment is a traditional B&B, with all the comforts and cleanliness you could want for an authentic stay in Paris.
Location is perfect; a walking loop of two hours from the property took me past all the main sites of Paris, as recommended by Rosemary! Bakeries and restaurants just next door (I'll be back to make use of the restaurants post-COVID!)
Accompanying Rosemary on the morning bakery run before her delicious breakfast is a must.

Never book this b&b as long as there is Covid 19! There is NO refund. I asked to postpone our stay 1 year later when hopefully it will be safe again. This was not allowed. Originally she also didn’t allow us to change our stay to July, September and October because she preferred ‘new visitors’. In my opinion we were also new visitors, nobody has chosen for this. After several emails she finally allowed to change our dates to August or October. As Paris was still in orange zone in this period, this was not an option.
For me it seems more and more that the host is just interested in keeping my money. She asked me urgently to pay the whole amount beginning of March because otherwise she would open up the dates for other bookings. I paid immediately, not realizing the lock down would start 2 weeks later.
Every accommodation in the world is offering refunds or credits to stay another time when it is safe again. Pandemics are excluded in all travel insurances, for me it is a loss of 400 euro. I expected a lot more from this b&b. Very disappointed!

My sister and I visited Rosemary in August after a last minute change of plans.
Rosemary was extremely accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags as we a arrived a little early so we could start to explore the city! Every morning we were awoken to the aromas of fresh bread and pastries from the local bakery to complement the fresh fruit, home made yoghurt and tea and coffee. Rosemary was able to give us some excellent recommendations of where to visit and most importantly where to eat!
The flat is in an excellent location and you are able to find it easily with the directions Rosemary provides, this is part of a pre-arrival pack you get sent which has extensive information which we referred to throughout our trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Rosemary is thoughtful and knowledgeable host. Daily breakfasts were filled with a bevy of lovely baked goods~ charming setting in the apartment and on the balcony. I was a bit awestruck because I was in Paris~ Rosemary was able to give this far from a world traveler confidence to explore and was an amazing resource willing share information with charm and grace.
The location of 52 Clichy is an excellent starting point for any adventure you would like to have in Paris. You can walk to shops, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and to the metro.
The extend of Rosemary’s hospitality include booking a taxi for our departure letting us know what the cost should be and packing up breakfast bakery goods for our travel home.
52 Clichy felt like our home away from home in Paris. A perfect spot to land in Paris.

Fabulous B&B / apartment in the heart of Paris. This place is warm and welcoming. We were treated as if we were family. Rosemary is a wonderful host and her breakfasts are legendary! Lovely to sit and chat through our plans with her each morning - the hints and tips she gave us were invaluable. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on - we ate in fabulous places we probably would have walked straight past! Highly highly recommended.
